A sworn written document (affidavit) is only evidence that a man is willing to attest to it orally if need be.<\/p>\n
So all affidavit evidence can be stipulated to (pretrial) as true if the opposing party agrees, if not you must bring in a man to testify and the affidavit has no effect.<\/p>\n
An affidavit is worthless on its own without acceptance by the opposing party.<\/p>\n
