2006 Nebraska Revised Statutes – \u00a7 60-3,184 \u2014 Motor vehicle tax and fee; terms, defined.<\/h1>\n

Section 60-3,184<\/b>
\nMotor vehicle tax and fee; terms, defined.<\/i><\/p>\n

For purposes of sections 60-3,184 to 60-3,191:<\/p>\n

(1) Automobile means<\/span> passenger cars, trucks, utility vehicles, and vans up to and including seven tons;<\/p>\n

(2) Motor vehicle<\/span> means every motor vehicle and trailer<\/span> subject<\/span><\/span> to the payment of registration fees<\/span> or permit fees<\/span> under the laws of this state and every cabin trailer registered for operation upon the highways of this state;<\/p>\n

(3) Motor vehicle fee means the fee imposed upon motor vehicles under section 60-3,190;<\/p>\n

(4) Motor vehicle tax means the tax imposed upon motor vehicles under section 60-3,185; and<\/p>\n

(5) Registration period means the period from the date of registration pursuant to section 60-392 to the first day of the month following one year after such date.<\/p>\n
