Brave Missouri Man:<\/p>\n
-This man worked for a large law firm in California at one time.<\/p>\n
-He travels with no registration,<\/p>\n
-no plates,<\/p>\n
-no insurance,<\/p>\n
-and no operator\/driver license.<\/p>\n
-He always refuses to sign a ticket, they give the ticket and normally do not arrest him.<\/p>\n
– A warrant is then issued for his failure to appear.<\/p>\n
-If\/when arrested for the failure to appear (at times years latter) he uses a writ of habeas corpus and demands to see the warrant with a verified complaint (Signed affidavit of the arresting officer.).<\/p>\n
-The Judges always try to get him to accept a lesser plea, he refuses all offers.<\/p>\n
-He is always released with all charges dropped.\u00c2\u00a0 (Longest he stayed in jail was 14 days.)<\/p>\n
-He has done this with 7 different judges, all with same results in Missouri.<\/p>\n
-All the Police know him in the (Missouri) \u00e2\u20ac\u0153county\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and have left him alone for most of the last 25 years.<\/p>\n
Arrest must be associated with probable cause (evidence of a crime) or upon a true warrant with a signed affidavit (verified complaint\/affidavit of probable cause.<\/p>\n
Signing the ticket is an appearance and he claims that if you do that you are done, they then proceed with jurisdiction, by [not] signing apparently forces them to produce the warrant with accompanying affidavit which they can not in most cases.<\/p>\n
If one is traveling in such a manner that is evidence of likely causing harm (reckless endangerment) such as speeding, they can arrest you with no court warrant, and they will put in a proper verified complaint\/affidavit of probable cause.<\/p>\n
I do not know if his vehicle gets towed.) (In Nebraska they tow the automobile and force you to license and insure it before you can take it home.\u00c2\u00a0 At times Nebraska police allow you to take it home on a trailer with out the licensing and insurance.<\/p>\n
