CODE ANN. \u00a7 201.904 : Texas Statutes &#8211; Section 201.904: SPEED SIGNS<\/h2>\n<div>\n<section id=\"leftcol-module\">\n<div>\n<p>The department shall erect and maintain on the highways and roads of this state appropriate <strong>signs<\/strong> that show the maximum lawful speed for <strong>commercial<\/strong> motor vehicles, truck tractors, truck trailers, truck semitrailers, and motor vehicles <strong>engaged<\/strong> in the business of transporting passengers for compensation <strong>or hire<\/strong> (buses).<br \/>\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
